Our host runs seven rounds across an hour and a half, everything from Waco history to the round nobody studies for, the music one. Between rounds the kitchen keeps the big plates coming and the bar keeps the pitchers cold.
Grab a table from five, put your team name on the sheet at the host stand, and settle in. First question drops at seven sharp. Scores go up on the board after every round, so you always know how far back you are, and exactly who to blame.
First place walks with a bar tab for the table and the honor of defending it next week. Second and third get gift cards. Everyone else gets the same thing they came for, a good night out with the people who let them down in the geography round.
Come hungry, bring the friend who somehow knows every one-hit wonder from 1987, and leave the geography major at home.
