The covers come off this week. The frozen machines spin back up, the fire tables get their first light of the season, and the skyline over Austin Avenue gets its best seat back.
Two new frozens join the rail, the Skyline Slush and a frozen paloma built for triple digit afternoons. The zero proof list grows too, so designated drivers get golden hour treatment.
The roof opens at five on weekdays and noon on weekends, weather permitting. No reservations for the rail, first come, first poured.
The first golden hour of the season is the best shift of my year.
